The Cartographer's Daughter
A novel about maps, inheritance and the places we leave out.
About the book
When her father dies, a mapmaker's daughter inherits a box of unfinished charts. Following their blank spaces takes her from Lisbon to the Baltic and into the history her family spent a lifetime drawing around.
The Cartographer's Daughter is a novel about the stories that maps tell, and the ones they cannot.
“Every map is a promise that something has been left out.”
